Cradlefin Consultants are recruiting for a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine interested in joining hospitals accross United Kingdom. The successful candidates will receive second to none one-on-one care from one of industry leading specialist Respiratory Medicine Recruitment Consultants to find the perfect role for you while achieving you the highest possible pay rates.
Main duties:
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of a Respiratory Service
- To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management and provision of a high quality, consultant-led Respiratory Medicine service
- Teaching & training of junior medical staff, and medical students
- To actively participate in both departmental & Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & audit. To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
- Ability to work as team leader when required. Possess good organisational and teaching skills. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Awareness of management issues in the NHS
- Agreement to live within 10 miles of the Trust or within reasonable access by car. Car owner with full driving license
Qualifications and Training:
- Primary Medical Qualification
- MRCP or equivalent. Entry on Specialist Register or within 6 months of receipt of certificate of completion (CCT) in respiratory and general (internal) medicine by the date of the interview
- MD, PhD or other relevant qualifications
- Membership of appropriate societies
Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- MRCP
- Evidence of entry on GMC Specialist Register
- Respiratory Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine OR Have CCT or be within 6 months of attaining CCT at time of interview
