Job Description

Cradlefin Consultants are recruiting for a DevOps Engineer with Golang development experience to join a hybrid based team covering Minneapolis, MN/ Dallas, TX/ Atlanta, GA/ Chicago, IL with experience in at least one OOO programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Go [preferred]).

Job Description:

  • Extensive developer experience in at least one OOO programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Go [preferred])
  • Hands on development (minimum 3-4 years in full-time SDE role)
  • Candidate should be comfortable working with data structures, data modeling, software design and architecture.
  • Candidate should have experience writing unit tests
  • REST APIs and Microservices, knowledge of JSON (Java Script Object Notation) handling
  • Hands on experience with Git
  • Experience in DevOps processes, CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Development) pipeline development and orchestration

Requirements:

  • Experienced professional
  • Adaptable, quick learner comfortable with new domains
  • Strong coding skills and the ability to work across multiple languages. We currently use Typescript, Golang, Python and Kotlin
  • Good understanding of development best practices and ability to apply them
  • Effective communicator across teams, functions, and organizations
  • Skilled in analysing architecture, products, and processes
  • Capable of innovating and building solutions to solve problems in line with long-term strategies
  • Driven to enhance the organization and champion impactful solutions
  • Foundational understanding of DevSecOps design and tooling
  • Foundational understanding of cloud technologies. We mainly work with AWS, but value experience with any cloud provider
  • Experience with containers.
  • Experience with K8s
  • Experience with AWS or Azure (minimum 2+ years of experience preferred)
  • Experience with IAC development (Terraform preferred, minimum 2+ years of experience preferred)
  • Experience with GitHub or GitLab
  • Familiarity with Ansible preferred.
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with build tools (e.g. Apache Maven)
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks
