Job Description

Cradlefin Consultants are recruiting for a hands-on Tech Lead to join a dynamic team and lead the deployment of the Thought Machine Vault core banking system onto client estates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management, along with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, Python development, and solution architecture.  Banking, Insurance and Finance Sector – Hybrid (Office + Home) .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of the Thought Machine Vault core banking system onto client estates, ranging from Tier 1 legacy banks to fintechs and neobanks
  • Develop financial product applications in Python and actively participate in the full SDLC
  • Gather requirements by interacting with senior and project-level stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Design REST API and Kafka integration patterns to facilitate seamless communication between systems
  • Maintain Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
  • Lead technical training workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Manage incidents and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure system stability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in deploying cloud-native banking systems, preferably Thought Machine Vault
  • Strong proficiency in Python development and familiarity with financial product applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing REST API and Kafka integration patterns
  • Experience in maintaining cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead distributed teams and manage project budgets effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) would be a plus

Tech Stack: Kubernetes Engine, Dataflow, CloudSQL, Spanner, PubSub, Istio, Python, REST API, Kafka, Terraform, Java, Spring-Boot, MySQL, Apigee Edge, jBPM, Jenkins, Dynatrace.
