Job Description

Cradlefin Consultants are recruiting for a Payments Business Analyst professional with 10+ years of experience in Retail/Corporate Banking with at least 5+ years in payments domain. Hybrid (Office + Home)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in determining key business requirements for identification of payments flows. Identifying and documenting key data elements within processing systems to enable rules-based controls to be set for management of large and anomalous payments
  • Perform root cause analysis of payment related Operational Risk Events and how these will be resolved through identified solutions, identifying any gaps

  • Work closely with the product manager(s), Solution Architect, IT Development and delivery manager(s)
  • Train team on Payments Domain and testing expertise

Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering IT projects using various models such as Waterfall and Agile methodologies primarily in Payments areas for Banking & Financial services
  • Strong knowledge on Payments business processes and Integrations and payment gateways.
  • Knowledge & understanding of payments workflows and controls
  • Good understanding of Clearing, Payments such as Automated/Bulk processing of Payments, CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments, Debit, Credit Cards, Wallets, ATM and End of day processes
  • Knowledge of UK payments and processes using a Payment Service Provider (PSP). Stripe. Government Banking’s PSP, Worldpay (central government or health sector organisations
  • Good understanding of Domestic and International fund transfers, cross border payments including SWIFT – MT 100 series, MT 200 series, MT700 series, MT 900 series
  • Good understanding of KYC/AML, FATCA, FCA, PSR and other UK Payments regulations
  • Experience of Core Banking systems like Mambu / FintechOS / Finova / FIS / Oracle / Flex cube /Finacle CBS with fair Knowledge on Savings, Deposits & Lending products
  • Experience of working in Individual contributor role and collaborating with multiple stakeholders from Project Initiation, Requirement gathering, Design, Development, Test, UAT, Go Live stages as a Payments SME
  • Should have experience of working in projects for International Banking clients preferably UK banking / Non-banking clients
  • Extensive experience working in a client facing role-managing expectations of various stakeholders
  • Additional Abilities, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, leadership & team building skills with proficiency at grasping new concepts quickly and utilizing the same in a productive manner.
  • Experienced in technology and process Transition management
  • Extensive experience working in a client facing role-managing expectations of various stakeholders
